1980 NetVoice is established in
Oxford, Mississippi, under the name Alpha Information Services
offering software development, word processing and 24-hour telephone
answering services.
1986 NetVoice expands
into the Time and
Temperature announcement business when United Southern Bank of
Oxford discontinues their local Time and Temperature Services.
Local businesses seek a new provider, and NetVoice answers the
call by developing a Time-Temperature solution (Time-Temp-Weather).
1994 Now
serving 55 cities, NetVoice expands Time and Temperature to include
a full-featured Community Hotline (Time-Temp-Plus) which
includes the local weather forecast, movie schedules, parks and
recreation events, health happenings, obituary announcements,
library news, school news, and more.
1995 Telephone
Banker is introduced to community banks throughout the Mid
South. By 1999, the number of banks utilizing Telephone Banker
exceeds 30.
1998 Homework Hotline is
added to the Time-Temp-Plus product
line. Teachers, parents, and students can access assignment
and test information 24 hours a day.
1999 Alpha Information Services becomes
NetVoice in September with services in 94 cities. NetVoice
launches its newest service - Web Hosting and Development.
Partnering with the Oxford, MS Chamber of Commerce, NetVoice is able
to offer special programs to Chamber members. NetVoice
releases a major rewrite of Telephone Banker with enhanced
services.
2001 NetVoice expands it's reliability by
opening a new datacenter by in Ripley, MS. The new datacenter
will provide NetVoice with generator power backup, along with nearly
unlimited bandwidth for the expansion of it's Internet
Services.
